I’m off to my parent’s house and probably won’t be on the computer very much, so I just wanted to say Merry Christmas and I’ll be back in no time. I’m sure time will fly because I intend to have a lot of fun!

Super Bowl Plans

It won’t be long now until the Super Bowl is here and I have been tossing around the idea of having a small gathering to celebrate this fun event. I don’t want a large crowd, but large enough so that I get a good mix of people that I know love football as much as I do, but have a good sense of humor and don’t take life too seriously, much like myself, thank you very much. I have a pretty large Flat Screen TV that should provide a good seat for my guests and it wouldn’t take much to buy some beer and munchies, along with asking each one to bring one food or beverage along with.
At this point we really don’t know who will be playing that day but each week the games have been very entertaining and exhausting and the Super Bowl should be a blast either way.
The Sunday Newspaper

Everyone in my family has always devoted a big block of time on Sunday mornings to read the Sunday newspaper. It is always the really big paper, with extra sections in it and color comics. Plus all the sale ads.
Sometimes I like the sale ads because I need to go shopping and want to see what’s on sale or who has the best prices on items to make it worth driving over there. Sometimes I’m broke or hate the idea of shopping and I just throw out all the sale ads because reading them and seeing all the tempting things to buy is just too depressing.
My favorite part of the newpaper is the “Living” section where they talk about everything from fashion to love advice.
Boring Friday Nights

Ever since I was a kid and had to babysit on Friday nights I’ve known that the TV shows on the networks are the worst ones on Friday nights. Friday night TV sucks. Always has.
That’s why Blockbuster was invented. At least if you have to babysit or stay home or Friday night you can rent a decent movie at Blockbuster and not be bored out of your mind.
