Seedless is Best
We bought a big fat watermelon and got it ice cold. Tonight we’ll cut it up and feast on our first watermelon of the summer. I can’t wait!
Did you know that some people sprinkle salt on their watermelon? I can’t imagine that, but it’s true!

Happy May 5 for our Latino Friends
Almost everyone here knows a few people and families from Mexico. Cinco de Mayo is becoming a big celebration around here as more and more Mexican families move here. There are lots of special parties and food menus tonight at the Mexican restaurants, and lots of cold cervezas, too.
