Everyone is so all happy about those vampire movies in the Twilight series. I think they are a joke. Who ever heard of vampires that are sparkly? Why couldn’t she write the stories like they would be believable with traditional vampire roles? It just doesn’t make sense to me that vampires would be sparkly, so I don’t even want to read those books or watch those movies.

I am going to save so much money each month by switching over and I got a new phone to boot. So far so good but I am having issues with figuring out this new phone. It is totally different from my old one. I’ve been letting people know that I have a new phone and if they are trying to reach me and are not getting me to be patient. A few more weeks and I’ll be fine, I hope.

Had to ignore the inbox this morning and sort through the mess. I don’t know how all these papers get away from me.

It was a good day to make up all those 2012 file folders I’ve been meaning to set up. Sad thing is, I remember reading somewhere that 80% of what we file away is never seen again. Wish I hadn’t read that – makes it even harder to stay motivated about getting the filing done.

Since Comcast took all but 8 channels away from us unless we buy one of their new digital boxes there isn’t much on in the morning except for news programs. I can’t stand watching this news any more, especially in the morning. There is way too much depressing news on, not a good way to start the day.

The only thing that I could find one other than news was Jerry Springer, which I never, ever watch. My nephew was on the Jerry Springer show a few years back and informed us on just how much it is all just a bunch on nonsense so I really don’t see the point of watching it knowing it is all fake. Besides being fake, it is all about people fighting with each other which really jerks my chain. How can they promote all of this physical violence and not expect the general public to act the same way and think that they will get away with it. In the real world when you assault someone you go to jail!

But this year I am diving in, head first, with the promise of putting down the smoking of cigarettes that I have been participating in for way too long. Our plans include a short visit with family Christmas morning and then an afternoon at home cooking a nice Christmas dinner and baking some cookies. I have been baking cookies every few days for the past couple of weeks and they never last more than one night! So my vision of having a big plates of assorted cookies on Christmas is just not going to happen. But I will have some kind of cookies on a plate tonight – and then I will have to stop baking for a couple of months while we all go on diets to lose these extra 10 pounds we have gained since Thanksgiving!

I think I’ll have to start hinting to my husband that for one of the up and coming holidays, such as my birthday, mother’s day and our anniversary, that I would really like to give these cool body wraps that you can use at home a shot and see if they can help me with the few added pounds that I have put on these past few years.

I know that a woman of my age is expected to put a few extra pounds on around the mid section, but I don’t like it one bit and would really appreciate getting back to my original weight this year and preferably before summer when I will be going out in public in my bathing suit.
