One of the things that I really miss about being a kid during the Easter Holiday is the Easter Egg Hunts that we always participated in at various locations all throughout the years. I’m thinking that someone needs to put together a Easter Egg Hunt for adults, with eggs stuffed with money and coupons and other items that people would love to have as well as some of the traditional candies.

New Cell Phone
Well I finally said goodbye to Verizon and got myself on my sister’s family plan with AT&T. I am going to save so much money each month by switching over and I got a new phone to boot. So far so good but I am having issues with figuring out this new phone. It is totally different from my old one. I’ve been letting people know that I have a new phone and if they are trying to reach me and are not getting me to be patient. A few more weeks and I’ll be fine, I hope.
Taxes, ugh…
Hopefully I will have my taxes done in the next week or so. I have no idea how much to even expect to get back or if I’ll get anything at all. It is never consentent with me. I do have a good friend who is going to assist me with them this year to make sure I am doing them right, crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s as they say.
Basement Finds
One of the best things about our house is the full basement that is dry and warm and perfect for storing stuff. I have been spring cleaning the main floor of the house and started a couple of boxes of junk that I didn’t want to toss out but want out of the way. Too much clutter makes me nuts. So I took two boxes of junk down to the basement and put them on a shelf.
Of course, once I got down there, I poked around and looked in a few of the other boxes that were down there from several months ago. I found a couple things that I’ve missed, but to be honest, most of it is just “stuff.” I’m thinking we need to have a yard sale in a couple weeks and turn some of that stuff back into cash.
Putting Them Down Once and For All
New Year’s Resolutions have never really been my cup of tea. But this year I am diving in, head first, with the promise of putting down the smoking of cigarettes that I have been participating in for way too long. The price of tobacco products has just gotten crazy and I’m tired of paying the high prices for something that is totally unhealthy for me. Wish me luck!
