Tonight’s Cooking Plans

15 Feb

Some new recipes have been nagging at me for attention, so tonight I decide to try a couple of them. I made a big batch of baked ziti, and for the meat sauce I used a mixture of ground beef and mild Italian sausage. It turned out great!

For dessert, I made a lemon meringue pie. The hard part was finding the beaters for my hand mixer. It looks wonderful, but we have to wait for it to cool before cutting into it. Can’t wait!

Black Out

19 Jan

Bye-Bye Verizon

23 Oct

I can’t wait for the end of November to get here so I can finally say “Goodbye and Good Riddance” to anything to do with Verizon once and for all. I have heard that there are several websites that you can do comparison shopping with numerous cell phone providers and their plans and their phones that they have to offer and I plan on spending some time here real soon looking for them and seeing if they can help me find the best deal possible for my wants and needs.

Well Dah

19 Sep

I  have fallen in love with Edgar Allen Poe’s poetry. There are several other poets that I like, but something about the way Edgar Allen Poe writes seems to touch my very soul. It would have been amazing to know this man while he lived. I hope to write like that some day, with my own thoughts, of course.
